Welcome to Moondance Acres, where Gait comes natural!
Moondance Acres (est. 2001) is located on 130 acres in Northern BC and home to our Icelandic Horses. These Horses can go the extra mile and are able to show versatility in a number of disciplines. The ideal Moondance Horse has calm Temperament, naturally smooth Gaits and sound Conformation. The Horses have time to mature, are mostly ridden barefoot and develop their Gaits through Condition and Balance, not Manipulation or Force. We offer Stallion Services & Frozen Semen to Icelandic Mares.
Moondance Horses roam Fields and forested Areas and grow up in a Natural Herd Environment - this produces strong and sound Horses with good Bone, Muscle tone and sensible Minds. Run-in Stalls, large Fields and varied Terrain will give them a healthy Attitude and ensures a Minimum of Health Problems. All the Horses receive necessary Supplements and Routine preventive Healthcare, Dental Care as well as Natural Hoofcare from an early age. If you are looking for a horse, we would love to help you find a perfect match!
